Job summary

Moss is seeking a BESS Electrical Assistant Superintendent to coordinate and support electrical teams on multi-state utility solar projects. You will work closely with Superintendents, contractors, and craft workers to ensure safe, high-quality execution of the electrical scope.

The role requires leadership, field supervision, and hands-on oversight of MV cables installation, testing, and commissioning, with frequent travel and collaboration with design and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years' experience working with medium voltage equipment and cable, installation of collection line construction.
• Experience providing support on large self-perform projects.
• Proficiency in installation, testing, acceptance, maintenance, and repair of medium voltage cables.
• Knowledge of testing methods such as current injection, Hi-pot, capacitance discharge, contact resistance, Megger, TTR, Doble.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support Superintendents, contractors, and craft activities on large utility solar projects.
• Review subcontractor procurement of electrical resources, methods, staffing, and schedules.
• Work with engineering staff to ensure plans, submittals, and RFIs are transmitted to subcontractors accurately and timely.
• Monitor Safety, Quality, and Efficiency of subcontracted work on every project.
• Coach, mentor and train field personnel and assistant superintendents.
