Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources is hiring a PV Solar & Battery Technician to support PV solar and battery storage system operations and maintenance. You will join the O&M team to ensure reliability and optimal performance of clean energy assets.

The role involves inspections, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and collaboration with construction during project installations. Strong safety practices are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Experience in maintenance or field service is valued.
• Driver's license required (non-CDL).
• Trade/technical training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect PV solar and battery storage systems for issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and tests.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system failures using tools.
• Collaborate with operations to execute maintenance plans.
• Assist with installation and commissioning of new projects.
• Document inspections and maintenance activities
• Uphold safety standards and company policies
• Stay current with solar industry practices
