Job summary

NextEra Energy is seeking a Site Technician to support solar power plant operations and maintenance across the regional sites. The role focuses on electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting, safety compliance, and reliability of solar arrays and inverters.

This full-time position requires a High School diploma or GED and 1+ years of experience, with preferred licensing as Electrician. Travel to nearby states may be required. Relocation may be provided.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED required.
• Trade school diploma preferred.
• Licenses: Licensed Electrician or Licensed Master Electrician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support Regional Manager to ensure execution of PGD processes.
• Perform electrical/electronic/mechanical operation, troubleshooting and maintenance at solar sites.
• Ensure safety, environmental program stewardship and regulatory compliance.
• Manage inventory and asset-related tasks and contractor oversight.
• Provide reliability engineering and warranty management for site operations.
