Job summary

Ambrosia Energy seeks a skilled battery assembly technician to join our Austin-based manufacturing team. You will build and test battery packs, install components, and ensure quality through routine inspections on a production line.

The role requires hands-on experience with electrical testing tools, basic mechanical assembly, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior manufacturing or warehouse work is preferred, with a focus on reliability and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of professional experience in electronics or mechanical assembly.
• Hands-on experience with building, debugging, testing, and validating electrical systems using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and similar tools.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, assembly, construction, or a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Ability to stand or walk for a shift and lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Build and test battery packs including wiring, installing electrical components and mechanical components, potting, etc.
• Operate laser welding machine.
• Perform automated tests of battery health.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack, and other heavy equipment.
• Operate production machinery and equipment safely while ensuring quality builds.
• Assemble battery systems on a manufacturing production line, following detailed build instructions.
• Perform visual inspections of parts and finished packs to identify defects or issues.
• Load and unload materials onto the production line and assist with building job kits and organizing components and tools.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation.
• Identify opportunities to improve assembly processes and communicate suggestions to the broader team.
