Job summary

Rocket Lab, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is seeking a Panel Program Engineer II/SENIOR to provide technical support for Solar Panel and Solar Array programs. The ideal candidate will act as the primary liaison among engineering leadership and program teams to ensure the project's success and meet requirements.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience, with preferred expertise in systems engineering design processes and cross-functional leadership capability. The position offers a dynamic work environment focused on innovative space solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience (aerospace or other) in an engineering role.
• 5+ years of industry experience (for Senior role) in an engineering position.
• Experience with power systems design for spacecraft (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical lead and primary point of contact for solar array programs.
• Lead a cross‑functional team of individuals from R&D, analysis, operations, design, and manufacturing.
• Manage program‑related Engineering Change Requests.
