Job summary

GeoTek is seeking a Field Technician/Inspector (Soils) for its Corona, CA office. The role involves performing routine field tests, collecting samples, and preparing daily reports with accurate computations for client projects.

Candidates should hold a high school diploma or GED, have 1+ year of grading inspections experience, and possess a valid driver's license. Nuclear gauge and ICC/ACI certifications are a plus; vehicle reimbursement is provided for using your own vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 1+ years' grading inspections experience.
• Nuclear gauge, ACI Field Grade 1, ICC Soils certifications are plus.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine field tests and sample collection on construction sites.
• Prepare daily activity reports and draft test reports for supervisor review.
• Operate field equipment, including nuclear gauge, safely and accurately.
• Communicate results and any scope changes to the Field Supervisor/Manager.
• Travel to and work at multiple job sites as required.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safety compliance on site.
