Job summary

LGC Geotechnical, Inc. is seeking a Senior Soils Technician in Orange, CA. The role requires a minimum of 5 years’ field experience, with duties including construction monitoring, soil sampling and testing, and producing daily field reports.

Candidates must have their own vehicle and a valid California driver’s license with a clean record. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced team are essential; grading/earthwork observation experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a soils technician.
• Must have own vehicle and a valid California driver’s license with a clean record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
• Experience with grading and construction observations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform construction monitoring and soil sampling/testing.
• Produce daily field reports.
• Assist with grading/earthwork observations for industrial and residential projects.
• Coordinate with site teams and drive to multiple project locations in Southern California.
