Job summary

UniFirst Corporation is hiring a Production Team Partner for the Soiled Linen Sorter role. You will join our production team to ensure soiled items are properly sorted and accounted for to be laundered and returned to customers, while contributing to a clean, safe work environment.

The position offers on-the-job training, a 40-hour work week with weekends off, and a benefits package including 401K with company match, health insurance, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school education and/or GED equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with management.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical operations using American standard units of weight, volume, and distance.

Responsibilities

• Count soiled wipers, cloths, aprons, towels, etc. coming back from customer stops.
• Ensure all soiled items are accounted for to get properly laundered, folded, and returned to the customer.
• Report processes accurately.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Follow all safety policies, HACCP and medical guidelines.
• Perform other duties as described by area supervisor or management.
