Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing is seeking a Sample Splitter to perform soil sample splitting and moisture checks following LIMS on a full-time basis. The role involves weighing samples, recording data in LIMS, and running instrumentation to generate and transfer results.

Two shifts are available: Fri-Mon, 4 ten-hour shifts, 2nd shift hours, or Tue-Sat 3pm-11:30pm, with training on first shift. Strong attention to detail and basic computers skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently and manage data entry.
• Professional working proficiency in English (read/write/speak).

Responsibilities

• Perform soil sample splitting following LIMS protocol.
• Conduct moisture checks on samples and record results in LIMS.
• Weigh samples using a balance and document mass.
• Run instrumentation and transfer data into LIMS.
• Discard samples per LIMS criteria; perform other duties as assigned.
