Job summary

ENGEO is seeking a Soil Technician/Field Representative to perform QA/QC observations on site earthworks and to assist with cross-training in Special Inspections. You will verify compliance with plans, conduct nuclear density tests, and report results daily using a provided Surface laptop.

1+ years field experience.
Interest in cross-training (e.g., SWPPP, ACI/ICC certifications).

Responsibilities

Perform QA/QC field observations during site earthworks (grading) and utilities/site improvements following design plans and recommendations.
Confirm compliance with project specifications and engineering recommendations.
In-place density testing of engineered soil and rock materials during site development using a nuclear density gauge.
Use a surface laptop (provided) to report accurate and detailed documentation of testing and observations; daily reports to Construction Service Managers.
Sample soil and rock and deliver samples for geotechnical laboratory testing.
