What You Will Do
- Support NGA's CIO-T office by managing enterprise websites and customizing applications.
- Provide website development and database management support.
- Maintain, develop, and optimize websites, web applications, and web interfaces.
- Develop and implement websites based on NGA Design System or protocols.
- Ensure website performance, scalability, and compatibility across platforms.
- Gather requirements from customers and the development team.
- Design, create, test, and maintain software and web applications.
- Follow formal design processes and adhere to standards and guidelines.
- Create user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation.
- Maintain technical documentation for software and web applications.
- Manage software processes and configurations throughout development lifecycle.
- Interpret user requirements and design appropriate software solutions.
- Collaborate with designers and project managers on project milestones.
- Develop APIs and RESTful protocols for software communication.
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility and optimize applications.
- Build, test, deploy, debug, and troubleshoot applications.
- Review code written by other developers.
- Coordinate and plan software development activities.
- Document, test, and debug in an agile environment.
- Utilize platform services to improve deployment efficiency.
- Submit infrastructure requirements via Service+.
Minimum Requirements
- Active Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) clearance.
- Bachelor's degree.
- At least 10 years of professional experience, including 4+ years in software/web development.
Preferred Qualifications
- TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
- Experience with Agile, DevSecOps, CI/CD, OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, AWS, databases, UI/UX, SharePoint, Hugo.
