Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Software Verification Engineer to support software and system-level testing, ensuring product quality, reliability, and performance. The role involves designing and executing test scenarios, investigating defects, and collaborating with engineering teams to deliver robust solutions.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams, using Azure DevOps to manage tests and defects, and contribute to releasing high-quality software

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, software eng, biomedical eng or electrical eng.
• 3+ years of software/system testing experience.
• 3+ years testing in regulated industry (medical devices/imaging).
• 3+ years Azure DevOps experience incl work items, defects, test plans.
• 3+ years analyzing Windows logs to troubleshoot failures.

Responsibilities

• Execute and document software, system, regression, and integration verification activities, including exploratory testing.
• Design effective test cases using boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, risk-based testing.
• Manage defects, requirements, test artifacts, queries, dashboards in Azure DevOps.
• Analyze system failures using Windows Event Viewer, logs, traces; provide root-cause evidence.
• Test Wi-Fi and wireless connectivity across connectivity, roaming, performance, and recovery scenarios with teams.
