Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer, Electrical, or Software.
• 2+ years of professional software test engineering experience.
• Experience with software development lifecycle management tools.
• Organized, on-time, and detailed project management skills, including project leadership.
• Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong technical skills including spreadsheets, word processing, PowerPoint and related applications.
• Excellent documentation skills supporting management decisions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, write, and execute test cases per Abbott practices, FDA regulatory, and ISO standards.
• Perform requirements gathering, hazard analysis, and design reviews for new features.
• Design new test suites for features and functionality.
• Provide verification and validation perspectives to R&D's ongoing product development.
• Support test automation framework, tools, emulators, and test scripts.
• Create/update Linux and Python scripts for testing.
• Record and close defects found during V&V activities.
• Develop and maintain testing artifacts and documentation.
• Contribute to process improvements in test development and workflows.
