Job summary

Abbott is seeking an R&D Staff Engineer in the Electrophysiology division, stationed at the St. Paul, MN or Plymouth, MN sites. You will contribute to implantable atrial devices, diagnostic and catheters, and EP capital equipment.

Responsibilities include requirement development, testing, risk documentation, and clinical workflow support. You will collaborate across teams, perform empirical analyses, and ensure compliance with FDA and company procedures while advancing cardiac device technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical Eng, biology, or equivalent.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Experience in fast-paced team environments.
• Attention to detail and organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide feedback on clinical workflows and EP product use.
• Support risk management documentation development.
• Design, supervise, and support bench and preclinical studies.
• Plan and conduct empirical analyses; write data reports.
• Document work for technical papers and patents.
• Participate in design reviews and project planning.
