Stellartech is seeking a Software V&V Engineer for on-site work at our Milpitas, CA facility. You will plan, develop, and document verification and validation for software-driven medical devices, collaborating with software, systems, quality, regulatory, and product teams to ensure compliant releases.

The role reports to the Director, Sustaining and Compliance Engineering and requires a 2+ year track record in regulated environments, emphasizing rigorous testing and cross-functional

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 2+ years of experience.
• Experience with software verification and validation in regulated or safety-critical environments.
• Ability to write clear test protocols, test cases and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with defect tracking, configuration management and requirements management tools.

Responsibilities

• Review software requirements and design for completeness, clarity, testability and traceability.
• Develop and execute software verification and validation protocols.
• Perform manual and automated testing at unit, integration and system levels.
• Document defects and support root-cause analysis through closure.
