Job summary

Recooty in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Software Tester with 1 year of experience to join our quality assurance team. You will perform functional, integration, regression, mobile, and UI/UX testing across web and mobile applications.

You will work through the SDLC, collaborate with developers, document defects, and train junior testers. ISTQB or ISEB would be a plus; a CS degree or equivalent is expected; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 1 year of software testing experience required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design independent web test cases for new web applications.
• Provide feedback to developers on automated testing strategies, design fixes, and patches.
• Perform system load tests for new products.
• Manage and train apprentices, junior testers, and new developers.
• Document quality processes for replication across locations.
• Manage testing projects through each SDLC phase.
• Improve functionality, design, and usability of new products.

Job Responsibilities:

• 1 year(s) experience as a Software Tester.
• Strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, mobile testing, big data testing, cross platform testing, component testing, security testing, performance testing, UI/UX testing, A/B testing.
• TMap, ISEB, ISTQB certification is a plus.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest testing developments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in [X] language.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relevant fields.

Job Skills:

• Design independent web cases for each newly developed web application.
• Provide feedback to developers about automated testing strategies, design fixes, and patches.
