Job summary

Groupe Kardol is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. You will design test plans and scenarios, run manual and automated tests, and collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues.

You will conduct functional, regression, integration, system, UI/UX, and performance testing, track defects, and maintain automated test suites within an Agile/Scrum environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software testing or QA engineering experience.
• Solid understanding of STLC and SDLC.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices.
• Proficient in SQL and database testing.
• Experience writing and executing test cases and scripts.
• Experience with defect tracking tools and workflows.
• Exposure to API testing is a plus.

Job description

You will ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications through manual and automated testing.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on requirements and technical documents.
• Execute manual testing and automated test scripts to identify software issues.
• Collaborate with developers to diagnose and troubleshoot bugs and performance issues.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, system, UI/UX, and performance testing.
• Track and document defects using Jira or Bugzilla.
• Maintain and enhance the automated test suite and test environments.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software testing or QA engineering.
• Proficiency with Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Postman, and Cypress.
• Experience with Git and GitHub.
• Strong understanding of the software testing lifecycle (STLC) and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Proficiency in SQL and testing within database environments.
• Experience writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and defect tracking.
• Exposure to Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Working knowledge of API testing.
• Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter.
