Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. GA-ASI is seeking a software quality assurance/validation professional. The role involves inspecting, testing, and validating software, developing testing plans, and documenting results to ensure reliability and meet program objectives.

Under supervision, you will review design specs, execute tests, advise on issues with developers, and help standardize testing procedures. A DoD clearance is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related discipline.
• General understanding of software quality analysis concepts and operations.
• Customer focused with ability to solve non-routine problems.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Review software design and change specifications; determine requirements for testing and validation.
• Develop, modify and execute software testing plans.
• Conduct software inspections, testing, verification and validation.
• Document tests and assist in debugging and modification of software.
• Provide feedback for technical appraisal of tested software and deployment.
• May contribute to development of testing standards and procedures.
