Job summary

Cortina Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Software Test Coordinator to support the Medical Modeling and Simulation team for NHRC. You will plan, coordinate, and report software testing across multiple projects and ensure rigorous test coverage for DoD systems.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in CS/engineering, 5+ years in software testing with leadership experience, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams, maintain traceability, and produce clear test artifacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field.
• Active SECRET Clearance required.
• 5+ years of software testing experience, including 2+ years in a technical coordination/leadership role.
• Coordinate with developers, analysts, and customers to ensure requirements are understood and tested.
• Design and execute manual and automated tests to validate workflows and system performance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating planning, execution, and reporting of software testing across projects.
• Conducting weekly status meetings.
• Coordinating test efforts among cross-functional teams.
• Reviewing designs and requirements for test coverage.
• Writing, reviewing, and maintaining test cases and procedures.
• Conducting test and data analyses and evaluating results.
• Reporting defects and test results and generating test reports.
• Providing feedback to software development team.
• Ensuring traceability from user needs to delivered capabilities.
• Travel up to 10% as needed.
