Job summary

AMD invites a Software Test Engineering intern/co-op in Colorado to join our team and engage in the software test lifecycle. You will learn to develop and execute automated and manual test plans, while supporting multiple projects and defect triage with project teams.

You must be enrolled in a US university masters program in a related field, with skills in Python, C++, Selenium, and QA testing, and an interest in PC graphics tech. Visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a US-based university in a Masters degree program in a relevant field.
• Experience with Python, C++, Selenium, and QA testing is preferred.
• Interest in PC gaming and graphics technologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing automated and manual Test Plans/Test Cases.
• Prioritize and manage multiple concurrent testing tasks.
• Reproduce, troubleshoot, and triage software defects with the team.
• Create test cases for new features and operating systems (Linux/Windows).
• Contribute ideas to improve QA processes and define metrics.
• Collaborate with developers and project engineers to drive defects to closure.
