Job summary

Synergy ECP in Columbia, MD is seeking a software developer with hands-on experience across Windows and UNIX environments to design, develop and test application software for government and commercial use. The role requires object-oriented programming with C, C++, Java, or C#.

You will work in an Agile team, build GUIs, and respond to evolving requirements, using Visual Studio or .NET or UNIX build environments. U.S. citizenship and TS/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years in commercial, Government, or academic setting, or four (4) years academic experience developing with object-oriented programming languages.
• Minimum one (1) year experience developing Windows applications using Visual Studio or .NET environment OR minimum one (1) year experience developing UNIX applications using make files or comparable build environments developing complex programs using C, C#, C++, Java or other comparable languages.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops and tests application software to fulfill unique requirements on Windows, UNIX or other specified programs.
• Builds applications using a specified programming language per the Government.
• Builds Graphical User Interfaces (GUIs) for custom applications.
• Responds to evolving requirements in an Agile environment.
