Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Software Test Engineer in Herndon, VA or Aurora, CO to support IC and DoD customers on the EMMETT SDA program. You will work with service and distributed computing technologies for SSA data processing and distribution.

The role includes designing test plans and procedures, executing tests across development to production, and documenting defects in Jira. A TS/SCI clearance with poly is required, with 4+ years of software testing experience.

Qualifications

• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and poly within 30 days.
• 4+ years in software testing and testing in Agile environments.
• Experience creating test plans and procedures.
• Familiarity with Jira, Jenkins, GitLab and Ansible in a DoD/IC context.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance test scripts; execute tests for development, integration, regression and user acceptance.
• Design and write test plans/procedures; analyze results and review code as needed.
• Document bugs in Jira and provide test reports.
