Job summary

AllocNow GmbH is seeking a QA/Software Test Engineer to work closely with test engineers, product managers, and developers in a fully remote setup. You will write and run manual tests, contribute to automated E2E scripts with Playwright, and help improve testing processes across the team.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience in collaborative software development, strong English communication, and the ability to work with teams in Germany, Poland, or remotely with international colleagues.

Qualifications

• Residence and work permit in Germany or Poland.
• English proficiency (C1+).
• 1–3 years of experience in collaborative software development as a QA/Software Test Engineer.
• Experience with larger software development projects is a plus.
• Experience with automated E2E testing using Playwright is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Test and continuously enhance applications with test engineers and product managers.
• Collaborate within a remote team and provide/receive constructive feedback.
• Identify areas for improvement and challenge the status quo.
• Write and execute manual test cases with a learning mindset.
• Update and write testing code for automated E2E tests (Playwright).
• Write documentation like software specifications.
• Improve engineering standards, tools, and processes.

Your mission

• Work closely with test engineers, product managers and fellow developers to test and continuously enhance our applications
• Collaborate enthusiastically within our remote team
• Provide and receive constructive feedback, e.g. in personal conversations, through reviews etc.
• Challenge the status quo and proactively identify areas for improvement
• Write and execute (manual) test cases with a passion for continuous learning
• Update and write testing code for automated e2e tests, e.g. via playwright
• Write documentation, e.g. software specification
• Continuously improve engineering standards, tools, and processes

Your profile

• Residence and work permit in Germany or Poland
• English proficiency (C1+), strong communication skills
• 1–3 years of experience in collaborative software development, best as Quality Assurance Engineer / Software Test Engineer
• Experience with larger software development projects is a plus
• Experience with automated e2e testing, e.g. via playwright is a plus
