Job summary

PDRI in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Software Tester to validate requirements and ensure defect-free software. The role supports the IT Services department and involves creating test plans, executing tests, and configuring automated regression tests.

The candidate will work with developers to resolve defects, maintain testing quality, and participate in user acceptance efforts. Remote consideration is possible.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in quality assurance of web-based systems.
• 3–5 years of experience writing and executing test plans.
• 3–5 years of experience documenting test results and defect reports.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality in all custom developed software.
• Define and prioritize testing across the development cycle.
• Create, review and prioritize test plans based on product specs.
• Ensure integrity and testability of specifications.
• Write and execute test plans and document results.
• Configure automated regression tests and identify defects.
• Collaborate with teams to align testing with user needs.
