Department Overview

The Partner Ecosystem & Cloud Provisioning Team delivers solutions to the public safety sector. The group is committed to providing technology and tools which will allow customers to focus on their mission, and enable them to respond faster with smarter and safer decisions. Our group builds integrations between different products and features such as Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management Systems (RMS), Jail Management Systems and Evidence management among other offerings. Interfaces are typically between Motorola Solutions, Inc. (MSI) products and third party applications.

Job Description

Drive software quality through automated and manual testing, detailed documentation, and strategic test planning. Champion quality initiatives across the company.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute automated/manual test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
• Troubleshoot customer issues and maintain client/server products.
• Create comprehensive test and user documentation.
• Advocate for quality best practices and process improvements.
• Collaborate with development and product teams.

Basic Requirements

Bachelors Degree

Ability to communicate in English on a daily basis (advanced level)

At least 3 years of experience with:

• Professional software testing - manual & automated
• Different end to end test types, regression, integration and functional

Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customer.

Additional qualifications and experience that would be helpful:

• Robot framework
• Agile Software Development practices
• RESTful web services
• Source control technologies (Git preferred)
• Cloud technologies (Azure preferred)
• Kubernetes
