Masimo, a Danaher operating company, is seeking an Engineer II, Software Test in Irvine, CA. The role focuses on design, development, and execution of test strategies for medical device systems, combining manual and automated testing to ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

You will build automated scripts in Python, TCL, and collaborate cross-functionally with software, hardware, systems, and quality teams to meet test goals and support bring-up.

Formación

• B.S. in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, biomedical engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in medical device testing, system validation, or software quality engineering.
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment and system-level debugging.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop test strategies, plans and cases for medical device systems.
• Execute functional, integration, system-level and performance testing.
• Review requirements and architecture to ensure testability.
• Develop test reports, traceability matrices and validation docs.
• Build automated test scripts using Python, TCL, or similar.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, systems and quality teams to define test quality goals.
• Support system integration, bring-up and troubleshooting.
