Job summary

Masimo, a Danaher operating company, seeks an Engineer II, Mechanical - Sensors for its Irvine, CA location. You will design, develop, test, and sustain mechanical components and assemblies for patient monitoring sensors and related products, collaborating across functions to meet performance, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2+ years in mechanical engineering or product development, ideally with electromechanical or high-volume products.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and engineering drawings; SolidWorks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and packaging for sensors and related products.
• Develop 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and design documentation.
• Apply DFM/DFA, tolerance analysis, and material selection for manufacturability.
• Develop and execute mechanical test plans and reports for verification and reliability.
• Prototype development and evaluation through testing and iteration.
