Qualifications

Job description

As a Software Test Engineer II with Cox Automotive, you will join an innovative and dynamic team, pivotal in revolutionizing the auto transportation industry. Work on the country's largest self-managed auto transportation platform, connecting shippers with a vast network of carriers to offer unparalleled control over pricing, partnerships, and empowering users with unmatched flexibility and transparency. Our Technical Stack:

.Net (C#), React, Playwright, Selenium, JMeter/K6, Typescript, PostgreSQL, AWS, Rally, New Relic, Git, GitHub, Splunk, Salesforce, and PagerDuty.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide Software Test Engineering support across multiple applications and system elements.
  • Understand and execute testing requirements with product and engineering teams.
  • Conduct architecture and design reviews with an emphasis on test automation.
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans.
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain well-formed test frameworks.
  • Write high-quality documentation, identifying and recommending solutions to observed risks and issues.
  • Evaluate the impact of new features on existing tests and assess the feasibility of testing new features.
  • Design and develop test plans and test cases based on functional and design specifications.
  • Alert engineering teams and stakeholders about required testing features and protocols.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements, advanced tools, and methodologies to enhance testing strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 2 years of experience, or a master's degree with up to 2 years of experience, or 6 years of related experience.
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
  • Solid programming skills, preferably in .NET C#.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, especially Amazon Web Services (AWS), is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Docker is preferred but not required.
Compensation:

USD 79,400.00 - 119,000.00 per year. The salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience. Additional incentive programs may be available.
