Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS), Bellevue, NE is seeking a Test Engineer Software to contribute to agile software development and automated testing efforts. The role emphasizes end-to-end test automation, collaboration with software teams, and delivering high quality software.

Ideal candidates will have experience with Eggplant Functional, Selenium, or Playwright, and familiarity with Linux basics, CI/CD tools, and common development IDEs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with a minimum of 2 years software testing experience or Master’s with 0 years experience
• Experience with end-to-end (E2E) test automation practices and tools such as Eggplant Functional, Selenium, or Playwright
• Experience with functional and regression testing
• Familiarity with Linux OS basics
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with technical teams

Responsibilities

• Participate in all Agile ceremonies with a focus on software quality
• Collaborate with developers and testers to ensure timely delivery of high‑quality software
• Complete work independently and as part of an Agile team
• Support the team in completing software on schedule
• Demonstrate progress to customers regularly
