Software Test Engineer (Clearance Required)

Whiteboard Federal is seeking a Software Test Engineer to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with multiple project teams, platforms, architectures, and diverse technologies. Candidates will design, develop, test, and implement software systems using object-oriented design.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop unit and integration test procedures. Update and create new automation/manual test scripts based on change requests and defects, executing test scripts to ensure the application is fully compliant with specifications.

Developing test validation scripts using program-designated languages (e.g., Java and Python).

• Experience with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and test methodologies.
• Experience with automated test tools, including Selenium, Katalon Studio, and Cypress.

Experience with the effective execution of automation processes, analyzing requirements, and formulating design. Ability to test both front-end and back-end applications. Experience with scripting languages, Unix/Linux, and Windows operating systems. Experience with documenting and communicating issues found during test cycles.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated professional experience in a technical field.
• Experience with automated and manual testing.
• Ability to communicate with partners and non-technical users.

Desired Skills

• Experience with Model View Controller (MVC) applications.
