Job summary

Optimus Technology, Inc. is seeking a Software Test Developer Engineer to join our engineering team in Kentucky. The role involves working with SDRs, servers, and hardware used in customer test infrastructures, primarily coding in C++ with Python and shell scripting.

You will help modernize build and continuous testing processes alongside the testing team. Ideal candidates have strong C++ skills, experience with CI/CD, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver robust software

Qualifications

• Proficient in C++ for processing-intensive analytics and real-time systems.
• Experience with Python for scripting and data handling.
• Shell scripting for automation and tooling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and modernizing build and test pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on documented requirements.
• Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document results.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Lead testing efforts and coordinate team activities within the software development process.
• Design, code, and integrate software into new or modified systems.
• Develop data queries and interact with databases as needed.
