Medical Device Software Test Engineer needed for a hybrid Contract Full-Time position in Raleigh, NC.

Required/Desired Skills/Experiences include:

• Software QA, release process, planning and executing VV test plans, documentation.
• Software source control utilities and archival tools, bug entry and monitoring systems.
• Software release process and activities associated, merging codes, constantly checking the targeted features are in the release, preparing install and patch packages.
• Test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
• Windows applications and integrated development environments, MS Visual Studio preferred.
• Window OS fundamentals, Windows API, .NET, SQL and Microsoft software development technologies.
• Object Oriented Languages.
• Research, identify and evaluate new VV testing technologies for implementation.
• Full development life cycle of desktop applications from requirements to launch and hands-on expertise and strong command of core front-end technologies: Win32, .NET, Sockets, OGL/DX, are helpful.
• Experience in coding with C/C++/ C# languages.
• Understands and uses Object Oriented Design/Programming (OOD/OOP) concepts and design patterns.
• Experience in performance tuning, improvement, and debugging. Familiarity with debugging tools.

TECHNICAL ENVIRONMENT

• Contribute to discussion on test process and procedural improvements.
• Executing effective functional test, carrying out exploratory testing where appropriate.
• Producing clear and concise VV Test Reports, Instructions, and Release Notes.
• Working collaboratively with other test engineers and development team.
• Establish quality standards, design testing methodologies and often determine when a program is ready for release.
• Assisting with the setting up and configuration of software test environments.
• Assisting customers, application personnel, field engineers, help monitoring luminary sites and other clinical sites where significant studies and activities held.
• Other duties as assigned based on business need.
