Job summary

Global Channel Management is seeking a QA Engineer to design, implement, and migrate automated tests for features that manage, distribute and monitor computation across large clusters.

You will build and improve test frameworks to meet automation and reporting needs, and develop automation tools for product testing while thriving in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements.

Qualifications

• BS degree in CS or CE required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong in Python programming and data handling.
• Good understanding of QA and Agile methodologies.

Required skills

• Strong in Python programming.
• Experience in object oriented development concepts.
• Must be able to demonstrate good understanding of database fundamentals and SQL Programming.
• Good QA experience with good understanding of scrum/agile methodology.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with inter-disciplinary teams and management.
• Motivated self-starter, with a high capacity for rapid learning and meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Hadoop.
• Prior experience with using or testing databases (HDFS).

Preferred Education

• BS degree in computer science or computer engineering.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
