Job summary

Global Channel Management in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a QA-focused software engineer to design tests that break code and improve product quality. Qualifications

• Passion for QA and knack for identifying tests that break code.
• Strong grasp of operating systems concepts including filesystems, networks, and memory management.
• Good understanding of algorithms and advanced data structures.
• Strong defect root cause analysis and problem solving skills
• 3+ Years experience working in any Object Oriented Language expertise (e.g. Java, Python…)
• Working knowledge of SQL, NoSQL, Big Data technologies (such as Teradata, Hadoop and MapReduce) gained through a combination of academic studies and work experience.
• Added advantage if candidate has experience with Hadoop, SPARK or AWS.
• Added advantage working knowledge of big data technologies
• Knowledge and experience working in analytics is added advantage
• Experience in an Agile development process, such as XP and Scrum
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with inter-disciplinary teams and management
• Motivated self-starter, with a high capacity for rapid learning and meticulous attention to detail
