Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer to support software quality assurance through automated, functional, integration, regression, and performance testing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation, SQL, XML/JSON, defect analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated, functional, integration, regression, and performance tests.


• Develop test automation solutions and contribute to automation frameworks and testing strategies.


• Analyze requirements and create detailed test cases, test scenarios, and execution plans.


• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities across multiple teams.


• Validate system functionality, performance, reliability, and data flow across integrated systems.


• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to validate system requirements.


• Reproduce, troubleshoot, and isolate defects and perform root cause analysis.


• Perform regression testing after defect fixes and new feature implementations.


• Analyze XML and JSON payloads and use SQL queries to validate relational database data.


• Document testing progress, results, defects, and quality metrics using approved project and defect tracking tools.


• Support UAT activities and work with stakeholders to resolve identified issues.


• Ensure testing activities follow established quality standards and processes.


• Work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.


• 6+ years of experience in software testing or related Information Technology roles.


• 2+ year of hands-on experience with automated testing tools.


• Experience with automated, functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.


• Experience reading and interpreting XML and JSON payloads.


• Strong SQL and relational database experience.


• Experience with defect tracking and project management tools.


• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause analysis skills.


• Ability to collaborate with technical and business teams and communicate testing progress and results effectively.


• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the LEAPWORK automation testing platform is highly preferred.


• Experience developing or maintaining automated testing frameworks.


• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.


• Experience supporting enterprise applications and complex system integrations.
