The software team works closely with Android Platform, Pixel Hardware, Silicon, and external partners to bring the best of Android to users, on Google’s Pixel phones. Our Pixel system display software team is responsible for all things display for Pixel devices, spanning much of the on-device software stack.
You’ll join our team as a display software technical lead. Your focus will be owning large portions of Pixel devices' display software stack and influencing other subsystems and SW/HW teams across Pixel and Android to ensure optimal, end-to-end solutions for present and future devices. You’ll own a mix of direct technical work, design, and project planning, leading other engineers to deliver complete, production-ready solutions.
The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits
