Job summary

Integrated Solutions for Systems (IS4S) seeks a Software Systems Engineer to support development and integration of software solutions for Army and Joint warfighting functions. The role involves system engineering activities, architecture design, use-case creation, requirements definition, test planning, and change management within a multi-disciplinary team.

You will contribute to lifecycle management, integration testing, and documentation while collaborating with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science for part-time applicants.
• Ability to architect software solutions and define interfaces between components.
• Experience creating use cases and user stories to drive design in Agile workflows.
• Experience documenting software development processes and artifacts (architectures, ICDs, APIs).

Responsibilities

• Assist managing the full software development lifecycle from requirements to maintenance.
• Solve complex integration problems and develop new code as needed.
• Create and maintain integration documentation, design specs, test plans, and architecture diagrams.
• Conduct integration testing to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Verify solutions meet data security and access requirements.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders effectively.
