Job summary

The Boeing Company, through its subsidiary Tapestry Solutions, seeks a Software Systems Engineer in Hazelwood, MO to join a DoD Tomahawk TLAM program. You will manage end-to-end non-embedded software lifecycle, ensuring compliance with standards and government regulations.

Responsibilities include MBSE-driven design, requirements management, testing, integration, and documentation, with a focus on system performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, data science, physics, or related fields.
• Active U.S. Secret Clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with MBSE tools and DoD contract requirements.
• Proficiency in software development lifecycle processes and requirements translation.

Responsibilities

• Develop system models using MBSE methods (Cameo System Modeler).
• Manage requirements and track changes through formal change requests.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design, develop, and verify solutions.
• Define system performance requirements and ensure interface compatibility.
• Develop, test, integrate software components and ensure safety and standards compliance.
• Document architectures, interfaces, and algorithms for clarity and future work.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing.
