HP in the United States is seeking a Software Systems Engineer to drive design of software systems across platforms, develop testing plans, and troubleshoot defects to ensure high performance. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and craft robust architectures that meet business objectives.

You will work on system integration, deploy and operate services, and contribute to capacity planning and launch reviews, with opportunities for bonus/equity based on performance.

Qualificações

• Requires a four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline; typically 2–4 years of related work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Installs, configures, tests and maintains operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• Designs limited enhancements and programming changes for subsystems of systems software including operating systems, compilers, networking, utilities, databases, and Internet-related tools.
• Analyzes design and determines coding, programming, and integration activities based on objectives and guidelines.
• Executes and writes portions of testing plans, protocols, and documentation; debugs issues and suggests improvements.
• Collaborates in concept design discussions, gathers system level requirements, and provides feedback for future design.
