Job summary

ScriptPro in Mission, KS is seeking a Software Systems Engineer to develop and test systems group procedures, performing network administration and desktop support. The successful candidate will test configuration code and write technical documents, exercising a wide degree of creativity and latitude.

Reporting to the Director, Software Systems, the role follows a hybrid schedule with on-campus and remote work, typically 8 am–5 pm CST, with collaboration across software, hardware, and robotics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or 2–4 years of equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience troubleshooting client Windows OS and servers.
• 1+ years’ experience writing technical documents.
• Experience with computer hardware and peripherals.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly organized, interpersonal, and collaborative team member.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage test systems as needed.
• Work with hardware located on ScriptPro campus.
• Use automated testing tools to test ScriptPro products.

Job Summary: The Software Systems Engineer is responsible for the development and testing of systems group procedures. This role serves as a product technical resource that performs a variety of tasks in network administration, and desktop support. The successful candidate would test configuration code and write technical documents exercising a wide degree of creativity and latitude.

Reporting Relationship:Director, Software Systems

Shift: General business hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm CST. This hybrid role requires a combination of weekly on-campus and remote work with specific days varying based on departmental policy and business need. Generally, all positions may be fully performed on-campus in Mission, KS. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.

• Implement and test configuration procedures for Windows Operating Systems and applications

• Work with hardware that is located on ScriptPro campus
• Use automated testing tools to test ScriptPro products

Required Qualifications:

• Must have high-speed reliable internet access with a hard-wired connection
