Job summary

Enercon Technologies, based in Gray, Maine, seeks a Software Systems Developer to design, plan, and implement technical solutions across IT systems. You will drive information gathering, programming, and deployment while collaborating with IT teams to ensure secure, scalable hosting environments.

You will design databases and reporting, tune SQL Server, and automate processes with APIs and AI-assisted tools, delivering maintainable code and robust documentation for enterprise use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or equivalent.
• MS SQL development, management, and administration experience preferred.
• Proficiency in C#, VB.Net, Javascript, and HTML5; MVC/Web API experience.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements and implement software solutions.
• Collaborate within IT to provide infrastructure for performance, security and hosting environments.
• Support maintenance, extension, and integration between software systems.
• Design, administer, and tune MS SQL Server databases.
• Build and maintain custom reporting via SRSS and Crystal Reports.
• Automate processes using SQL infrastructure, APIs and custom applications.
• Maintain source control and a deployable code base for team collaboration.
• Document system modifications and customizations.
• Apply AI-assisted development tools and integrate AI/ML capabilities into business apps.
