Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a software sustainment engineer to maintain and modernize legacy enterprise systems while supporting a distributed application environment. You will troubleshoot, fix bugs, and upgrade systems to meet security requirements, advising clients on best practices for modernization.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years on sustainment and legacy projects, experience with APIs and microservices, and a TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT II certification

Qualifications

3+ years of experience maintaining and making minor changes to existing applications or keeping those systems working in a sustainment mode.
3+ years of experience with legacy enterprise systems.
Experience with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks.
Experience working in a microservices or distributed application environment.
Experience with designing and debugging applications.
Experience with workflows, web parts, site maintenance, and APIs.
TS/SCI clearance
HS diploma or GED
Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT II Certification, including Security+, within 30 days of start date.
