Software Support Specialist - Data & Insights Solutions

Unblocking stuck clients, solving technical problems with teammates, and documenting solutions are key aspects of this role. We seek diverse, high-performing team members to support clients using a cloud-based data platform, aiding data-sharing programs at various government levels.

Support Specialists act as product experts and technical advisors for users of Tyler data platforms, from the public to government data workers and internal teams. Your day may involve client communication, troubleshooting, and supporting data analysis and visualization efforts, ultimately helping clients trust and derive value from our platform.

Responsibilities
  1. Investigate client-reported issues and test solutions
  2. Troubleshoot data and technical issues like ETL pipelines
  3. Assist clients in data formatting for analysis
  4. Participate in meetings to inform use cases
  5. Leverage APIs to develop solutions
  6. Maintain knowledge base and documentation
  7. Teach clients to use platform features effectively
  8. Provide Tier II support across divisions
Qualifications

We seek candidates with technical skills and a desire to learn:

  • Understanding of technical concepts
  • Proficiency with online applications and quick learning ability
  • Knowledge of web development and programming basics (SQL/Python a plus)
  • Understanding of data concepts and databases
