Job summary

In-N-Out Burger in Irvine, CA seeks a full-time ERP Software Support Engineer I to join the IT Business Systems team. The role focuses on frontline technical support for internal systems, troubleshooting, and upgrades across stores and departments, reporting to the ERP Development Supervisor.

Ideal candidates bring Oracle SQL/PL-SQL training, basic Linux, and cloud platform experience, plus a background in software development or technical support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Business or Engineering preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in software development, programming, technical support, or quality assurance recommended.
• Understanding of PowerShell, Windows desktop operating systems, and related tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Train in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, basic Linux commands, and Cloud Development Platforms.
• Document issues and solutions, generate reports, and maintain documentation.
• Identify issues that require escalation and route them to the appropriate parties for resolution.
• Provide user training on networks, systems, and applications.
• Function as the point of contact ensuring software is online, maintained, and functioning.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues.
• Use best practices and collaborate across teams as needed to meet store and support needs.
• Troubleshoot issues with and support the maintenance of the ERP system while working alongside the Oracle Development Cloud team.

The In-N-Out BurgerInformation Technologyteam has an excellent opportunity for a full-time ERP Software Support Engineer I located out of theIrvine, CAoffice. The Software Support Engineer I serves as a frontline technical resource primarily to provide support, identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues relating to software implementation, function, and upgrades of internal systems for our stores and support departments in real time. They may also be involved in developing updates and training users on how to navigate through internal systems and software products. The Software Support Engineer associate will report to the ERP Development Supervisor.

General Responsibilities

The above represents the expected hourly range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors.

• Office hours in Irvine, CA: M-F, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

INO Qualifications:

• In-N-Out Burger Store experience: Active associates must be a Level 3 or higher to apply
• OSC, IT, technical, computer, or troubleshooting experience preferred
• Experience with Technical Support/Help desk preferred
• Associates must be in good standing (no written warnings within the last 6 months, 1 year preferred)

Additional Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Management, Computer Science, Business or Engineering preferred
• 1+ year of experience in software development, programming, technical support, or quality assurance (preferred)
• Understanding of PowerShell, Windows desktop operating systems
• Experience in business processes related to human resources, payroll, accounting, and inventory (preferred)

After maintaining two Southern California office locations for many years, the company will permanently close its Irvine office in 2029 and once again headquarter the company’s western territory solely in Baldwin Park, California, where the company was founded in 1948.

Newly hired Associates in Irvine will be eligible to participate in the group move to Tennessee with relocation assistance or work from our western headquarters in Baldwin Park, CA, upon its opening in 2029.
