Job summary

Dematic is seeking a dedicated software technical support professional to resolve application and system issues while maintaining high customer satisfaction. This role blends technical troubleshooting, customer support, database and Windows administration, and customer training.

You will collaborate with software engineering teams and may engage with AI technologies and industrial automation systems. Travel ~5% and on-call duties are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience in software support or similar role.
• Experience with Oracle and MS SQL databases.
• Experience with Windows OS.
• Willingness to travel ~5% and participate in on-call rotations.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot software issues.
• Collaborate with the development team to resolve complex issues.
• Document and track customer issues and problems.
• Assist in creating support documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Conduct training sessions for customers on software usage.
• Travel approximately 5% to customer locations and Dematic locations in the United States.
• Participate in an on-call rotation during non-business hours.
