The Software Support Analyst provides consultation, support and resolution of client problems in the use of the Skyward application software to ensure that client needs and information requirements are met. They provide mid-level knowledge of the Skyward software applications to interface with outside agencies and to identify requirements for application modifications. They develop training curriculum and deliver training to end users and other staff. The Software Support Analyst’s greatest asset is the ability to communicate with others and to develop and maintain relationships to further enhance the customer experience.
8 hours per day, Monday-Friday, 260 days per year. This position will be part of the Business team. Experience with payroll is considered an asset and would be beneficial in this role. The starting pay is set at 90% of the full salary range until proficiency is achieved. At 90%, the salary ranges from $94,286.40 to $106,204.80. Once proficiency is reached, pay increases to 100% of the salary range, which is $104,769.60 to $117,998.40.
Work is performed in an office environment, however, approximately 50 percent of this time may be spent working at the various school district locations. Routine travel is required to visit local school districts as well as for workshops and conferences. Sitting for extended periods of time working at a computer terminal is common. Lifts and carries a maximum of 15 pounds. Adequate manual and finger dexterity, hearing, speech and vision are necessary to perform the essential functions of this position. This position is telecommute-eligible per Policy 5225.
Hazards: Potential hazards are present based on the fact that the position requires the incumbent to travel a significant amount. Hazards may include but are not limited to traveling alone, traveling in inclement weather conditions, varied road conditions, rush hour traffic, etc.
