Job DescriptionSoftware Solution Lead Engineer – Low Voltage InfrastructureHybrid: This position does not require an employee to be onsite full-time, but the general expectation is that the employee will be onsite a minimum of 3 days each week.The Role:The Low Voltage Infrastructure Team within the Embedded Platform Systems & Infrastructure organization is focused on the development of systems and controls centered around on-vehicle low voltage power generation, energy storage, power management, distribution, and consumption on ICE, EV and PHEV vehicle platforms. Coordinate with systems engineers and hardware teams to ensure alignment on interface and performance requirementsLead triad meetings for development of solution requirements and test cases to enable quality software creationSupport the scrum team members in the decomposition and understanding of the solution or subsystem requirements as neededCollaborate with controls and software engineers to review software implementation, ensuring compliance with requirementsLead development of subsystem level FMEAs and collaborate on System and Component FMEAsEngage in root cause analysis for applicable subsystem related issues, translating solutions into new or revised requirements for low voltage power managementOffer technical support for the power management related features to people internal and external to the Electric Power ART, help resolve PRTSs, share lessons learned/best practices, and capture IP/ROI’s/etcSupport Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) related planning and work acceptance meetingsEmbedded Software Development Expertise:Possess a robust experience in embedded software development with the ability to draft software requirements ensuring software independence from hardware, while understanding the underlying hardware architectureUtilize simulation environments and plant modeling for testing or requirements generation.
