Job summary

Zachary Piper Solutions seeks a Software Simulations Developer to join MCWL work at Quantico, VA. Design, develop, and sustain simulation models for weapon systems, environments, and wargaming scenarios, collaborating with engineers and subject matter experts to ensure fidelity and interoperability.

The role requires a DoD Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility, 5+ years of development experience, and proficiency in C++, C#, Python, or Java.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or related technical field.
• Minimum 5+ years of development experience.
• Experience with Modeling & Simulations or Wargaming Scenario Development (Unit, Mission, or Campaign Level).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, Python, or Java.
• Experience with simulation platforms or gaming engines such as AFSIM, NGTS, MACE, STORM, ITASE, Unity, Unreal Engine, Simio, or Arena.
• Familiarity with version control systems and collaborative software development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and sustain simulation models and environments using various languages, tools, and data sources.
• Integrate simulations into larger system architectures and support interoperability testing.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and subject matter experts to enhance model fidelity.
• Implement new features, test and validate models, and troubleshoot issues.
• Lead and support planning, coordination, and documentation for simulation projects.
