Job summary

Raytheon seeks an experienced Software Engineering Section Lead in El Segundo, CA to guide staffing, performance, and execution across multiple embedded software baselines. You will provide senior technical leadership, review code, and champion engineering discipline.

This onsite role requires a STEM degree, 8+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance. DoD security requirements and US citizenship apply.

• Experience implementing and validating real‑time algorithms and supporting SW/HW integration on embedded platforms.

• Experience with EO/IR or sensor‑based targeting systems.

The salary range for this role is 118,300 USD - 224,900 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
