Job summary

AI Signal Research, Inc. (ASRI) is seeking a System Analyst II (Software Safety) to support safety assessments and IV&V for multiple defense systems at White Sands Missile Range, NM. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science or related technical field or extensive hands-on experience with complex radar/communication simulations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct and review safety assessments for complex software systems to identify potential hazards and failure modes.
  • Verify and validate safety requirements and design constraints across the SDLC per MIL-STD-882E.
  • Collaborate with safety SMEs, program offices, and developer teams to ensure safety is integrated across SDLC.
  • Perform IV&V to independently confirm safe operation and fail-safe behavior of safety-critical software.
  • Contribute to system design reviews, milestone reviews, and technical meetings with actionable safety recommendations.
  • Maintain critical safety artifacts: SSA, SAR, FHA, HTS/HTL, SSHAR, LOR mapping.
